there are places like that(Pigeon) but Most places Are very nice....West and East fork of the Pigeon, Davidson River, upper French Broad, Looking Glass Creek(Sliding rock), Big Creek....

If I do ever end up moving closer to Asheville, I already know the only thing I'll miss is Lake Chatuge. It's irreplaceable.

Yea, this would be more accurate...

They are all close to each other and are some of the best swimming holes in the state IMO...
