Still haven't topped our 'local', (as in on our deck, in the shade), high...got to 79+ here today, but
it didn't reach Eight Oh. Humidity was tolerable today, and the breeze was really pretty nice. Our Kidz
back in Philly/South Jersey are looking at 100 tomorrow and Friday. Ugh...

I tell our son that altitude is one's friend, in the summer.

they are even expecting a heat index of 115 in the pa/de area ! wow, I so enjoyed last weeks weather and was kinda hoping, it would stay like this all summer . at least it was a nice welcome

when I entered our neighborhood (ballantree) it was 96 degrees, when I reached our house, it was 90. lucky us .

I heard Asheville got hot as hell today, and I bet it was worst in south Asheville; always is. I don't miss living in Oakley. I doubt it broke 90 here today, but it's possible. Seemed more like high 80's to me in my driveway, at about 2600'. I didn't expect living here to make as much of a temperature difference as it has.
