Well I posted this in Charlotte forum & since we love the mountains, figured a short drive doesn't matter much....
So - any ideas for cheap wedding locations?
We're thinking outdoors, under $200, park....

I would check out Lake James State Park near Morganton. You would have a beautiful mountain backdrop and gorgeous lake for your pictures Plus, state parks are very affordable places to use.
Well, it's NOT cheap but a very popular location which is reached thru NC but is actually located in SC is Pretty Place (http://campgreenville.org/chapel.htm - broken link). Liz
