I haven't heard that expression in 40 years. Subdivisions/Developments is how you should search if you are looking online. There are many subdivisions and townhouse developments in the Asheville 'area'. Draw a radius of at least 25 miles outside the
City of Asheville and search on
www.Realtor.com for preliminary information. Simply put in your price range, type of housing, how many bedrooms, and so forth that you are looking for. Asheville is a city within Buncombe County. You want to do a search by
county. We need more information on your wants and needs. Under $180K may not be doable.
