Over the past couple of years, I've totally fallen in love with the Gorge. The SO and I found it by accident (WHY no one had told us about it before, I don't know....), and now must go back every year for hiking. We've gone two years in a row, and typically stay for the weekend. This will be our third year.....and we are staying for an entire week! I'm super excited!!!

So....since we'll have much more time to explore, I thought I'd start planning our hiking adventures early (we aren't going until October - but I'm a planner)!

If you're familiar with the area, or stumbled across a trail or two while visiting, please let me know which one(s) and what you thought. There are SO MANY trails out there, it's so hard to choose!!

Here's what we've completed so far: Cabin Trail, Hawksbill, Devil's Hole, and Spence Ridge.

I'd love to hear your experiences, so please share!!!!

There have been some recent wildfires in there so you should probably check with the USFS before heading up this year. It is a very cool place and a great wilderness area.
