They have been clearing it out front and there is a detour to get into the store. I thought maybe they are extending the parking lot or maybe another business?

Actually, I was serious. The first time that I went into a Lidl was in Bitburg, Germany, 20 years ago. The front doors were situated, maybe, 20 feet apart.

i'm guessing everyone has figured this out already, but in case not: they're renovating/building a new store. aldi is open during the construction.
Ahh, I new they were supposed to upgrade but had no idea they would build new. The new Aldi's are great! Thanks for sharing!
