Postive tests are not based on "symptoms." They are based on lab results that test specifically for COVID-19. Sure, the different types of tests have varying degrees of reliability. However, your conspiracy theory is just that... a conspiracy theory.

Can we get back to posting information pertaining to WNC, and more specifically the High Country?

I was responding to other comments by other posters...since i am OP of thread i believe i can do that without being instructed on thread subject. And the statement from the CDC is not a conspiracy theory. If you feel my posts are as you posted a few days ago "impertinent" and now conspiracy theories you could start a seperate thread np and not be aggravated by my posts in thread i started.. I welcome not only comments/links about Ashe Co. but any other mtn counties as well as relevant information about CoVid19 such as the CDC statement on actual deaths vs total deaths. I appreciate your posts from Avery/Mitchell/Yancey Co.'s combined with mine it gives picture of what the status of CoVid19 in the mtn counties.
