I was thinking of Boulder, & how that would relate. The Op never said what part of Denver, but I was trying to make it relateable, while also learning myself.

Oher than the OP's comment about liking a small town vibe, I think Asheville is the place for them. The small town thing wears off in just over a month imho. When you get to know everyone, the adventure wears off a bit.

I don't know what Denver's like, but I love the lack of chain retailers & restaurants here, & prefer all the small businesses...restaurants and retail.

Hopefully, the OP will provide feedback once here.

The OP only had one post, and then disappeared. Probably not a serious post. Denver, Fort Collins and Boulder are very liberal. The OP would like Asheville IMO. But, the OP disappeared.
