My husband and I have been away from Kansas most of our lives, but think we would like to settle in Wichita for our. . .ummmm . . .golden years. I am an RN. Would greatly appreciate any description of the nursing culture in Wichita as I have no idea. Have worked many areas of the country. Love nursing, but sometimes the nurses I've worked with have made life less than pleasant. Also would like to know about availability of part-time work -- LTC, SNF, clinic. No hospitals
Also -- any guidance on temporary quarters -- three to six months -- until can figure out what area of the city we need to be in. Good area -- but on a bus line? Any such thing?
