Im going to be in williston on sep 23. I have a felony that is non violent and not drug related, happened 4 years ago. How difficult will it be to get an oil job with that. Are there felons working in the oil field?
If the felony is not a serious one I wouldn' be worried. Although seriously am not sure though.....Are you going to apply or going to stay there? Can you come here after and let know how it went and all so I/we can have an idea....Thanks....
Dimka, please be sure to let us know how it goes. I too have a non violent felony and wish to go to ND to work. I'm a 1st time daddy from indiana tryin to make some good money for my new family. Any info you can post would be great. Good luck!
Seems alot of people are interested in going up to wiliston, I believe that from what I read that Dickinson and some other areas are hiring as well with maybe more housing choices. It also seems that most of us are limited on funds. I am thinking that it might be prudent/cost effective for some to think about rooming together in an extended stay hotel or apartment/condo setup. I am not familiar with the man camps..does anyone know if your rooming with people and what do you store your stuff and for that matter what should you bring bunch a clothes or clothes for a week or more. Thanx for any answers...jim PS I think we on this forum have a kindred spirit being on this forum alone so to speak I think it would be cool to help each other out and have 'friends" before or when we get there.
Im going to stay. Not gonna leave without a job. Sure I will let you all know the situation.
Well good luck when you go there soon, and def let us know, my husband is going there 2nd week of October.
