What? No respect for Lynn Dickey? Or that Whitehurst fella?

Eleven world titles; the only team to win three consecutive world championships; eighty years of history, that is who the Packers were before Favre. Right now, Brett Favre is the second best quarterback in Packers history. Who knows, that will probably change over the next decade.

And yes, Lynn Dickey was a very special quarterback. (what was his number? )
The teams of that era suffered from very poor defenses, which was a travesty. Never mind the leg injury he suffered while with the Oilers. Lynn Dickey to James Lofton and eventually John Jefferson, with Paul Coffman at tight end provided a lot of offensive punch.

The Packers are a class organization and earned inch of their 13th world championship. Props also need to handed out to the Steelers; head coach Mike Tomlin is a class act thru and thru. Every time the man speaks he earns more and more respect from me.

Rodgers is the reason they won that game. He was outstanding and clutch. His already impressive numbers would have been way higher if his recievers hadn't dropped 5 or 6 balls.

Turnovers are not automatic points. Besides the one interception returned for a TD, the Packers had to earn the other two TDs.

Like I said, while the defense played great, Rodgers was unbelievable this game. Not to mention, he had a better playoff run this year (his numbers were off the charts) than Favre ever had.

Congrats from a hardcore Steeler fan! I will be the first to admit that you won this game with class! I wouldn't want to lose to anyone else but the Pack! No rivalry or hard feelings in the 'Burgh! Great organization and glad we could meet up in Super Bowl XLV! Enjoy your championship year!

New Super Bowl viewership record -- 111 million. Two blue-collar teams with the most loyal fans in the NFL.

Great match-up. Great game.
