The news is reporting that a 1.5 quake is causing the noises......I was in VA. when we had our earthquake and there WAS a HUGE BOOM....we thought it was Quantico doing bombing exercises....we get "booms" from that from time to time.

A. It's hydrogen gas building up below the Earth's crust and as it releases, it makes an odd rumbling sound.
B. It's a teenage prank. There are two local teenage boys who are laughing their butts off that their little prank has made national news.
C. It's actually sonic booms people are hearing at night coming from Jet "fly by's" near the Clintonville Municipal Airport.
D. Michael Buffer recently relocated to Clintonville, WI and he's brought his trademark "Let's Get Ready To Rumble!!!!" with him and likes to show off at the local watering hole on the powerful microphone which shakes the whole town. CRAZY!
