Pretty sure I haven't said anything about Milwaukee or Madison on this thread, but thank you for addressing the actual points I've made here and not resorting to personal attacks.

Your body of work speaks for itself. Your contribution (such as it is) to this thread is just a continuation of a theme that is starting to get really tiresome.

Then, by all means, tell me why I'm wrong. But if you can't at least do that, then stop whining just because you don't like what I have to say.

... says the poster who whines about how awful Wisconsin is outside of the precious, so-fisty-cated glittering urban meccas every chances he gets.

So people in rural areas stare at strangers when they first roll into town -- boo effin' hoo. Get over it.

If that's what you've gotten from my comments, you need to work on your reading comprehension. Either way, everything I've said in this thread was well within the topic until you decided to throw personal jabs. At this point, you're just trolling.

OK OK - I'll join in - When I moved to Columbus WI and went ANYWHERE - I was stared at because I was an unknown. That's all. It's weird but that is just a small town thing.

VERY friendly (at least Columbus) but since I was an unknown . . . . .

If people are willing to live where they'll get stared at by total strangers, more power to them. But that doesn't make it any less rude and no one is a "snob" for pointing it out or being put off by it (as so many commenters have said or implied in this thread).

lol, most people don't know what it's like to be a minority (in my case an asian) and the stuff we face, so they just brush off any minorities complaints and say it's not a big deal.

When you try to pass off something that happens as a matter of course as racism, then yeah, your complaint is going to get brushed off just as it should be.

The entire point is that people in small towns might often stare at total strangers - and if you actually live there, you will not be a total stranger and ergo, you will not get stared at.

I agree with what everyone's said about your "contributions" to this thread. Especially since:
