We are thinking about moving to the Fox Cities area from ST Louis. I know that the area is predominantly white/Christian. I would want to know a bit about gay couples/families living in the area, is it safe? Are the ppl ok with that in general? Thank you!

I wouldn't think you'd have a problem. I'd hope not, anyway! Appleton area tends to be pretty safe. I doubt anyone will take issue with your being half of a gay couple.
I think it's a friendly, decent area, personally. I have several gay friends who live in the area and they've never reported any problems, thankfully.

I don't have any gay friends in the area (being relatively new to Neenah), but I have seen several same sex couples in the stores here and no one seems to care one way or the other.

I think it's a friendly, decent area, personally. I have several gay friends who live in the area and they've never reported any problems, thankfully.
