I'm looking forward to seeing it. I guess Diane Sawyer has been working on it for a couple years.
Josh: That's very interesting your grandmother had a chance to do that. In the future I would really like to go to that area and help with whatever; I think it would be very fulfilling.

My sister and brother-in-law go into a bayou area in Louisiana every year to help out. They stay down a week or two and say it is a very rewarding experience. They've gone to other places, Indian reservations, I think.

Hi! The show last night was an eye-opener - such hardships in a beautiful setting. It was so nice to see the dentist helping out those people with the terrible teeth. Susan - I've always wanted to do something similar to your sister and brother-in-law - it shows there are still really good people out there! And by the way - Happy Valentine's Day to everybody here!!!!

Happy Valentines day everyone!!! Nice and sunny here, a little breezy when I went out this morning but that might have been because I was walking along the lake.

I didn't get to watch 20/20 yet, I recorded it though!

Sometime today I'll watch it.

Welcome natrlvr2! And a Happy Valentines Day to you too!

Thanks everyone who has wished each other a Happy Valentines day. Same to you all. The show certainly was eye opening. As Suecen said it's tough to see such a struggle in such a beautiful place. The sad thing is it kind of reminds me of the UP of Michigan, economically depressed.

Greeting on this Hallmark day.

I think my wife and I are going out to dinner and possibly a movie.

I watched the show last night. Crazy.....I was wishing that that high school boy would've made it out.

Beautiful day here in Wausau. Mid 20's with nothing but sun.

I was hoping for him, too, I thought because they featured him that he might be a success story!

My sister in the UP said today, gee, we could use the dentist with the tractor trailer up here! I don't think she was joking!

Susan, Honestly somewhere in the forum I compared the UP to Appalachia. I wasn't kidding either!
