Does anyone else out there have a co-worker who loudly discusses all their personal and financial woes with their wife on the telephone all day long? Drives me up a damn wall.
You meet all kinds in the office. I worked with one lady who wouldn't bother to minimize her internet when you came into her cube and she was ordering from Victoria's Secret... and it was not someone that you would want to imagine in any kind of undergarment...
I used to work with someone who was going through a divorce. Sitting in the cube next to her, I heard every last detail...and it would get nasty. I would get anxiety attacks and have to leave...I had no idea listening to people fight about kids would bring up the feelings I had as a child when my parents were divorcing. I reverted to five just like that. I got over it but she didn't really stop either.
Oh and my other favorite is listening to pregnant women talk about the most intimate of details of their birth. People really should be more considerate of their audience but what can you do?
