I have only heard of two people that actually LOVE their job and wouldn't change any aspect of it. Then there is the huge % that wants to stay in their current job but change some aspects i.e. co-workers, management, working conditions, pay, etc. (I am within this percentile), then of course are the small % which absolutely hate everything about the job. It's these people that you hear complain about every little thing but they don't do anything about it! Why don't they actually make changes and get a different job?

I like my job too. Since I have to work I like doing what I do, now if I won the lottery and didn't have to work at all then I wouldn't do it, but since I have to work I like this job better than other jobs out there. My coworkers and team leads are nice, yes all jobs have their ups and downs and every minute of every day is not a party, but in general I pretty much enjoy it. I like working with people so it's not bad. Plus the benefits are good, it's always full time with overtime available if you want, you get incentives and bonus for doing certain things. So over all it's not bad at all.

I think everyone like our job, If this is depended on your boss's nature and your favorite work. If you like your work then it means you are happy.

Love my job, love my company. I even returned here after a lay off when they cancelled my product line. Great benefits, great people, generous and honest.

My new job, I love my leadership and coworkers. I enjoy working with them and enjoy our challenges. I am continuously intellectually challenged.

If I won the lottery, I can't see myself quitting really.

Most people who win the lottery end up bankrupt, I would probably just use vacation and maybe even take an additional unpaid week of time.

I love my job and my line of work. However, there used to be parts of my last job that I didn't like (and parts that I loved). Here is what I did to make things better going forward:

When it was time to switch companies/jobs, I wrote down the things I liked best and thinks that I didn't like about my job. Maybe it was working middle of the night support that I didnt like, or being salary and having to work extra hours on weekends and evenings for free. Maybe there was some software that I loved and it payed well(to work with it) and had a good future. Then other software that was 'ok' but didn't pay quite as well and looked like it was gradually going away.

My next job, I made sure to target the job that had the things that I liked best, and made sure that it wasn't heavy in the things I dislike or the things that were going away or the things that didn't pay well.

I basically cherry picked my next job.

I enjoy what I do. That is to say, I enjoy my line of profession. However, would I stay at my current job if I didn't need the money (i.e. if I won the lottery tomorrow)? Absolutely not - I would start my own company and run it the way I want to (most likely a foundation or a non-profit). This isn't to say my current employers aren't doing thing right or they're horrible. But everyone does things differently. And if I had the option, I would definitely do it my way.

Pretty much this. Also, your coworkers can make or break a job even if the actual work isn't particularly fulfilling or meaningful.

I got lucky, dream job in a career field I want to spend the rest of my life in. Coworkers are fairly easy to work with ( I dont interact with them too often) and my manager is super ambitious but easy to deal with. Employer is also paying for my grad school tuition.

Salary compared to the type of deals I close (100M+), is laughable, but for 26 I'm doing alright and gaining experience people twice my age could only dream of.

I quite enjoy my job / career. I also work for a great company with great people and make a rather comfortable salary.

I don't think I'll ever truly love a job as long as I am locked into a schedule. It feels like prison with parole on the weekends. I'm a hard worker but I just want freedom. I would love to have a job where you can go home as soon as you finish the job. I think that would make people more productive.

I once had a part time job like that as a filing clerk at night. I was given a huge stack of paperwork to file after everyone went home. I could stay or leave anytime I wanted. I just had to get the stack done.
