Great post,right to the point. After years of customer service etc I'm getting to that point myself to where I just want to go back to working somewhere off by myself...though not sure how to communicate that in interviews

Put the focus on being "task oriented" and "deeply commited to doing quality work," rather than how people-oriented you are. Say that you're "laser-focused on getting the job done."
