So I stumbled on a job site called Flexjobs and it's mostly jobs that you can work from home. Applied to a handful of jobs and already have some interviews lined up. The jobs that I found were sales and marketing positions that basically involve trying to pre-screen sales prospects so that sales people can just come in and make a sales pitch. I've been in outside sales for quite a while now and the last five years especially 90% of my time was spent in my home office setting appointments and screening prospects. So it does not seem like that much of a leap to do it 100% of the time.

Does anyone have any experience telecommuting as a 1099 employee? It appeals to me because I could take my job with me if I want to relocate again in the near future to a town with few job prospects.
