I currently have a bachelor's that is my highest level. It is a bachelors of science in business administration, management. I hope to get more educated down the road. It is a passion rather than a "need" to me. Right now I am unemployed but that may change in the week...<_<
MBA, traditional (not on line) program, nationally ranked in the US as #13 at the time of admission (lucky #13!).
I think that it is valuable to also know what school and/or program (traditional or on line) one received their degree from. An MBA from Phoenix is a little different than one from Harvard.
This is a self selecting forum. It takes a certain level of intellectual curiosity to find and post on city data.
Almost exactly what I was going to say! National averages include everyone from the non-English-speaking recent immigrant with an 8th grade education, to my 97 year-old grandmother who can't use a computer, to the PhD professor - City-Data.com, on the other hand, would mostly appeal to the latter of those three examples. Also, the well-educated posters are more likely to vote on this poll.
As for myself:
BA English Literature
MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science)

I suppose, although a Phoenix degree is still better than nothing. I started at University of Oregon, then transferred and finished my BA at University of the Pacific, and did the MLIS at San Jose State.
FYI: You probably already know this, but I wanted to add that there is a distinction between online CLASSES and an online SCHOOL... about 2/3 of my graduate classes were done online, but they were just the digital counterpart to their (basically identical) "brick & mortar" classes @ SJSU. Most universities these days offer online credits, which is different from an entirely online school like Phoenix.
I've finished all my PhD coursework and should have the actual thesis done by the end of the year, but I freely admit that it will not earn me any money or advancement at work. I'm still happy to have done it, because I've contributed to the world's knowledge (about, I admit, a very obscure subject), and that will live on long after I am gone.
I have a feeling we have a number of people on here with "BS" degrees. :-)
