I've posted before that anyone looking for a title with the word Manager in it should also do a search using the misspelled "Manger". You'd be surprised how often you see that.

I love when there are misspelled words and the person who wrote it includes that candidates must be good at paying attention to details.

Why, that's outside of HR's job description... if they posted jobs for doctors/lawyers, do you expect HR to be able to operate on you, defend you in court? Yep, HR, the "office" jobs for the people that couldn't make it higher

I have seen this alot myself and I laugh because usually somewhere in the description it will say something like superior writing skills a must. Funny stuff.

How about the office manager that scolds you for spelling the word RECEIVE correctly, because she thinks it should be R-E-C-I-E-V-E.

Obviously she doesn't know the "I before E, except after C" phrase. The only time that doesn't apply is when you try to spell SCIENCE.

Or when sounded like "A", as in neighbor, or weigh.

I listened to those nuns a hundred years ago!
