I'm not sure what you mean. That clearly says that the money is going to be "managed," not just given to him.
Robertson himself has no direct access to the money or control over how (or if) he receives it.
I think TampaBull was asking you for a source of proof of your statement that most gofundme's are scams. You know, a link to evidence of this "fact".

Are you deliberately being dense?
Think of it as a trust fund, if you can comprehend what that is. There is a money manager who disperses money based on need. The people who are helping James only have the best interests for him and want to ensure that his money not only grow through investing, but be paid out to him to help with vehicle/insurance expenses, his housing, gas, and health expenses. With the exception of the college student, I'm pretty dang sure the people who are helping James are financial professionals who know how to help people manage large sums of money.
The police helped him move for safety reasons. His new car is parked at the police precinct. The Deputy Police Chief said people were asking him for money. He could certainly anger the wrong person and they would know his residence.
A week before, an 86-yr old man was killed after he won $20,000 in the lottery. The poor guy is worried about his own life now.
UPDATE: Police help hard-walkin' Detroiter move to safer home
This just goes to show that positive things happen to those who persevere. He could have chose to sit at home on CD and complain about how horrible his life is, his job, etc.... But instead he just got out and did what he knew had to be done. It paid off for the guy in dividends. I have a lot of respect for someone like that. No excuses, just willpower.
