Fill in the blank for yourself, personally.

For myself,
  • I don't have any much better options. I have been able to get slightly better offers (25%-30% pay raise), but nothing that really puts me in the lucrative sector of my industry.
  • I want to stick it it out for 1 year so that my resume doesn't make me look like too much of a job hopper.
  • My job has a flexible schedule, doesn't require me to work overtime, has many perks, is secure, and I seem to be liked by upper management.

I enjoy my job, I like my coworkers, it is a relaxed environment, I'm happy with the pay/benefits... why would I quit?

My age.
the commute.
If I could find a place that would accept a 57 year old without a soul crushing commute, which is a a big deal to me personally, I would leave in a second. Only take the time to delete my work and other important stuff off the server as a "Thank you" for such a pleasant experience

I love the meaningful, challenging work, get great pay and benefits, great hours (6:30-3:00) have a window office with water/mountain/city skyline view, and look forward to going to work every day. There is no reason to want to quit.

Default The only reason I haven't quit my job is _________

The only reason I haven't quit my job is

$2K credit card (Bank)
No other job available, but am applying for 2 ATM

Last reason?I've a nice co-worker who I get along with good enough. She leaves, I'll be one surly bastard.....There's no other worker of her (Or my) caliber.

I would try something different, but it will probably be more of the same BS, and by then I'll have to take a paycut and I'll again be off my career track.

I would try something completely different, but I would have to go back to school for that and I already have multiple degrees and am not a young person.

It's a big leap into the unknown. I am ready to go and have a feeling it will be this month or the next. I need a kick. I am NOT looking for another j.o.b.

Same here. New job and wish I looked around years ago and left the last job sooner.
Having said that, if I won the lottery or inherited even a couple hundred thousand dollars I would quit to go back to school full-time, but that has nothing to do with my present employer, just a life thing.

I like my boss and coworkers. Everything else - pay, benefits, physical working conditions - sucks.

I guess when it comes down to it, the people are more important to me than the rest of it.
