Why are you asking for others' opinion on this decision when you just stated why you made your decision?
People sure are not confident in themselves these days, always needing assurance and guidance from others.
I really hope the driving responsibilities were listed in the ad. I hate going to an interview and finding out that I will have to drive to different locations. Not that its a big deal but why not at least mention travel in the posting? Makes no sense.

The job ad mentioned nothing about driving/providing transportation to residents or potential residents. I also would have had to clean up any pee and feces if this occurred in transit. Also, I would have had to utilize the wheelchair lift.
No, too much responsibility for a secretary. They should have a Transportation Director or even a CNA for this task.
Sounds like they're trying to condense job duties to save money. Sad.
