Hi anonymous5,
I think you should talk with payroll department in your company regarding this issue.
They will guide you in a better way than anyone else.
Thanks!!

How many employees? Are they all family?

I still would like to know how someone continues to work for an employer that doesn't pay them.

We don't have a payroll department. I am the office manager. We always outsourced our payroll to a company that specializes in payroll. I wouldn't even work on the payroll directly because of all the problems my father caused concerning this mess.

The employer is my father.

There are 4 employees. My brother and I work there. There are two other employees who are not related.

I don't get it either. This violates labor laws, and is even more complicated when it's family who is the employer to boot. And it's a parent no less.

Best bet is to get due pay and leave quickly before this causes a rift in the family. Working for family is a tough gig and numerous relationships have been wrecked this way even without pay issues. Hope it gets resolved quickly for you.
