First it's no longer in the "Los Angeles County" Forum as it's now in the "Work and Employment" Forum. Secondly, What does the person being a former Iranian, Jewish and the country of Israel have anything to do with the subject at hand?

Orna and David Delrahim To Be Honored At Tree of Life Gala in Beverly Hills | BH Courier

—-

In the tight-knit diaspora of Persians who migrated to Southern California in the wake of the Iranian Revolution, Vahid David Delrahim is a figure of note.

The owner of some 100 Southern California car washes and gas stations, he has been feted in Beverly Hills as a major donor to the Jewish National Fund which raises millions of dollars a year for Israeli settlements.

Through one of his companies, Platinum Energy, Delrahim was named last November as the buyer of a $9.1 million home in Hidden Hills, the neighborhood that also houses Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus

The U.S. Department of Labor has charged Delrahim and his managers with cheating some 700 workers at a dozen of his facilities in Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Ventura counties over a five-year period, failing to pay minimum wage and overtime

That is REALLY SHAMEFUL when you consider how hard those car washers work!

Gotta thank the local govt agencies for not doing their job. That's what you get with a sanctuary city, lots of people abusing illegals. Since it's basically slave labor.

But they're Protecting those poor people right? Jump across the border for a better shot at life and end up getting screwed in the very people that give you a job then shaft you while working.

I am glad someone said "This isn't right" and blew the whistle....

If a business can't survive by legal means it should fail.
