I have been driving part time for Uber since ’17. I have been using the Uber visa debit card from Go Bank, since I have been doing this. I use the instant pay to transfer my fares right to card by using my Uber drivers app. Two days ago I tried to make a purchase and it was declined.
I called Service number and was told that a notice was sent to all drivers that their debit accounts would be closed and to cash them out before November 10th. If not, they will refund the money to you in a check. Well… I did not see the notice and was caught off guard.
Every time I call in get simple instructions on how to get another card to reset my instant pay, I am connected with someone I can barely understand. They said to go get an Uber card at a CVS or Walgreens. But what kind of card??? Also, what are the steps to get set up again?
