TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Wildlife officials in Florida said they are seeking applicants for a crocodile handling position with no experience necessary.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said the job pays $25 per hour and will consist of responding to complaints of nuisance crocodiles in Miami-Dade County and the Upper Keys, where the number of complaints has recently risen, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Thursday.

Crocodiles are endangered in FL and there aren't that many of them. They only live in a small portion of the southern tip of FL. It's good news to hear that they are starting to increase in numbers. They are so endangered that they don't kill them when they become problematic, like they do to Alligators. Alligators are everywhere in FL. Not so for crocs. Unless you're talking about those plastic shoes.

Quote from the above link:
"Despite their large size, American crocodiles do not regularly attack large animals as most large crocodilians do. ....... the American crocodile is potentially dangerous to humans, but it is not a very aggressive species and attacks are rare."
