The official unemployment rate is 5.2% in Australia, the rate went down last month, but has being trending upward for the few months before that. The rate has been sitting between 4 and 6% for the last 8 years now.

The US looks to be doing better than the average for the Euro area, but worse than many individual European countries.
BLS appears to indicate the following have had unemployment drop by more than .5% since 2009. (I choose 2009 as it's generally counted as the first year to be totally within the jobs-recession. Also, as always, I could be misreading so feel free to check how I'm reading the sources)
Germany
Austria
Belgium
Canada
Sweden
Japan
"Trading economies" indicates the following have had unemployment drops of over 2% since 2009.
Latvia
Estonia
Turkey
Sweden
Finland
Russia
And that the following had unemployment rates in 2009 that were below 5% and are even lower now.
Thailand
Singapore
Vietnam
Malaysia
South Korea
Switzerland - More than a percent below 2009's rate.
China
Denmark
Austria
Hong Kong - Over a percent drop
They list Japan, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka as dropping below 5% in that period. I don't think Japan's economy is all that great though.
Both seem to agree Austria and Sweden improved a fair amount on unemployment since 2009. Both generally agree the US is doing, not great exactly, but better on this than the average for the European Union. Some disagreements on other things between the sources.
Unemployment in the UK is around 7.6% now, it was around 3 - 4% pre-recession and has risen I believe, or the amount of people on benefits has risen. Our unemployment rate isn't too high compared to other developed countries and never has been.
A list of some unemployment rates:
Spain 20.9%
Greece 16.6%
Ireland 14.0%
Portugal 12.4%
France 9.5%
Untied States 9.1%
Italy 8.1%
Finland 7.8%
Sweden 7.7%
Iceland 7.6%
United Kingdom 7.6%
Denmark 7.4%
Belgium 7.3%
Canada 7.2%
New Zealand 6.6%
Germany 6.0%
Australia 4.9%
Japan 4.9&
Luxembourg 4.5%
Austria 4.3%
Netherlands 4.2%
South Korea 3.7%
Norway 3.4%
Switzerland 2.9%
Employment rate is steadily decreasing in the US, among the lowest of highly developed countries (not a good thing). Unemployment rate is stagnant at 9.1%.
According to Eurostat the unemployment rate in the Netherlands is 4.3%, the lowest in the EU. The youth unemployment (under 25) is 7.8%, which is also the lowest in the EU.
The unemployment rate of the Euro area is 9.9% and in the EU27 it's 9.5%.
In Belgium (also according to Eurostat), we are at an unemployment rate of 6,8 %. Although other sources state it's 7,3 %. So I guess it's somewhere in between then.
