Why just don't split Europe into three parts? That would put the UK firmly in Central Europe? Southern Baltic coast is the northern boundary for the North, The Alps the northern boundary of the South.

For me as an Northerner, calling the Netherlands or the UK "Northern Europe" is just silly. Northern Europe ends at the Danish-German border.

I think 50°N 10°E (near Würzburg) is good to say geographic center of the Europe.
But if you take account to where is the east end of the borderline, Vienna could be granted the title too.

The UK is further north than that! You do realise the UK extends to 61N? (Further north than you)

Whatever, I am in Northern Europe, a normal climate wouldn't have 18 hours of daylight in the summer and 7 hours in winter.

Morocco is closer to Newfoundland (Canada) than to Jordan/Syria/the Arabian Peninsula, and closer to Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and New Brunswick (Canada) than to Iraq/Iran/the Persian Gulf.

I didn't include islands in my definition of Europe.

You are in northern Europe, but anywhere below 53n is in the southern half. The UK also extends down to 49n.

Err no it extends to 50N and don't be kidding yourself, 53 North is hardly southern. Its closer to the pole than the equator.

53N is the mid point of Europe (which spans from 35N to 71N, not including islands). The Scilly Isles and parts of Cornwall are below 50N. What has being slightly closer to the pole than the equator got to do with anything in the context of Europe?

Because its just rediculous. England is not in Southern Europe, stop trying to pretend you live in a hot climate.

So you're ignoring the facts and deciding to change the subject (even though the midpoint is 53N and London is south of that). London to Tromso is 1400 miles. Travel the same distance to the south and you aren't even in Europe anymore; you're in the middle of the Sahara desert.

I suppose next you'll be telling me I'm wrong if I say that the east of London isn't in the western hemisphere.
