I'd want to mix this up between continents but Europe just has too much to offer so I have to give them 2 slots over something (likely Brazil) in South America. Africa is just amazing in terms of nature and terrain - nothing like it so I think it deserves to be top 5. I also think Spain and Italy is a real coin toss.
Japan - Asia
USA - North America
France - Europe
Spain - Europe
South Africa - Africa
Good post:
For me:
Japan :Asia
Spain: Europe
USA: North America
Brazil : South America
Egypt: Africa
1. Canada - There is no place more diverse on the planet, other than maybe the USA. From the temperate rain forests of Southern BC to The towering mountains of the Rockies, and the hundreds of thousands of lakes across Ontario. The east coast is pretty nice too. Toronto is pretty mediocre, just money and culture here, but Vancouver is amazing
2. UAE - It's a close second, but if you have the money to visit here, it is amazing! Nice cars, beautiful buildings, impressive records, a great waterfront, and the ability to want to go swimming in the gulf during the winter allowed me to enjoy Dubai. Abu Dhabi was very impressive to, but I enjoyed Dubai more.
3. Portugal - I'm gonna make this short. Super. Cheap. Version of Spain.
4. Switzerland - I'm a big snowboarder, so experiencing different mountains is something I love. The only problem I have with mountains in Europe, is that they're much too high to get to the good snow. Russia, Norway, and Canada allow you to see consistent snow at lower altitudes.
5. USA - Very diverse, climates of all kinds, people aren't as mean as the US-bashing sites of 9gag and Hugelol make them seem, just too much crime for my liking in some areas, limiting what you can do compared to Canadian or European cities.
Honorable mention: Sweden, Norway, France, Costa Rica, Cape Verde, Japan (this came in pretty much at 6th. Amazing place, but not very tourist friendly).
Overrated Places:
Australia - Insanely hot in summer, gets kinda cold in the south in the winter, but not cold enough to enjoy the winter. People were nice in a few places, but generally didn't make conversation. Kinda plain, not very impressive cities other than Melbourne, but great scenery and surfing.
Spain - More expensive version of Portugal. Not bad at all, but just go to Portugal if you have the opportunity.
Netherlands - Not bad for the average University student, great place for them anyways, but parts of the cities are definitely not family friendly. Would recommend to younger people though. Actually, I'd urge younger people to go there.
Here is TOP 5 must visit regions for me it's not in orders, difficult to pick only five countries
1. East Asia (Japan & South Korea)
2. Northern European Plain (Germany & Netherlands)
3. Scandinavia and Nordic (Norway, Sweden, Denmark & Iceland)
4. Iberia (Spain & Portugal)
5. British Isles (United Kingdom & Ireland)
