Weed-Legalizing President Nominated For Nobel Peace Prize

A bit surprising but in fact,a good move from Uruguayan President, the only way to kill the illegal cannabis business and generate new revenues for the country.
What do you think of his nomination to the Nobel prize ?

I think it's pretty stupid.

Then again, Obama won it...

That's a different situation, maybe President Obama got it because of the use of drones, the norwegians were afraid to be the next target, lol !!!

Seriously,i think it is interesting, that means the world view of cannabis is shifting towards legalization.

I don't think legalizing pot deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

There are certain things I hate about the legalization debate, and one of them is actually listening to pot heads talk. I mean, they really just bother me.

There are certain aspects of legalization that I think are good, but I just think that we need better ways of detecting it in a person's system while driving.

You're right though, unless a country is backed by Russia.. they better not do anything to make Mr. Obama unhappy

The peace prize has sadly become a bit of a joke itself in recent years.

Looking at who has won it recently, I think he fits right in. Who better to win the Nobel Peace prize than a Marxist terrorists who shot his opposition with his own hand and who badly damaged the economy of his own country.

I really don't think it has much to do with marijuana.
