I remember seeing these projections (along with the accompanying report) from the UN. The population growth occurring in Sub-Saharan Africa is crazy- almost scary! This is especially true of Nigeria (already a massive country in terms of population), where the average fertility rate is roughly 5 or 6 children per woman. I remember reading (from 'The Economist' or some place else that analyzed these numbers) that the fertility rate in SSA is somewhat of an anomaly, different from Asia and Latin America, because their fertility rates aren't dropping nearly as quickly as they did in the aforementioned two during their industrializing years. I mean, Africa can't feed or take care of its population now- how on earth are they going to be able to do it when the continent's population is going to be exploding through the year 2100 (and possibly beyond)? Scary thought- I feel bad for the people for whom this will have a negative impact on their lives.
How about the decline in European population under legalized same-sex marriage?
We all know same-sex couples don't have kids.
( they want to adopt other people's children though !)
If the homosexual population continues to grow at the expense of traditional marriage how can a population grow? by relying on immigration when anti-immigration demonstrations are being held all other in western countries?
Anyone who is offended by what I said should come forward and demonstrated I'm wrong.
