Well, you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

I work at a public high school in the US and the required history courses for every student are: US History, European History, and Latin American History and the last year of high school they take a "Sustainability and Global education" course where current events, geography and religion are all discussed and taught.

These are not factors that affect the lives of the vast majority of Americans who are middle-class or higher.

But it's true that if you can't make it out of the bottom 20% at any point in your life, then you're probably screwed.

Optimus prime69.-
I am not saying do not study some history and geography of the World. But what is deeply studied only is USA.
My friends who studied there a year were amazed that their fellow students they asked them where I
was Spain and some said that if it was near Mexico.

Bigcity dreamer.
In Europe even this 20% is assured free medicine too.
Do not forget that life takes many turn and anyone can in fall destitution.

Another thing is that americans have private medical insurance limit spending and in Europe in invest
what is necessary to your disease wihitout limited.

I reckon the answer has much more to do with how much cash you have rather than which side of the water you live!

For me, the USA offers much better income and lower taxes than most anywhere in Europe as well as more varied climates to choose to live in. I own a duplex apartment in Marbella, Spain on the Mediterranean and I really like it there as well....planning to go there for a few weeks in February and March again. However, most of Europe, I don't care to see again.
