Vladivostok is in Russia's far east; Sui Fen He is the largest city close by in China.

Vladivostok seems to be an interesting city and have been interested ever since I found out about it, it's also directly across the ocean from me. But it does seem a little rundown, but hopefully with all the investments coming into the city, it will look better in the future, From the video Sui Fen He also looks interesting, it as seems to be better maintained and looks some what similar to an American city.

Here are a couple other videos about Vladivostok

Borderlands of contrasting countries have always interested me. In this case, China, Russia, and even North Korea are interesting to observe. The cultural and linguistic differences are be engaging to learn about, let alone the societal similarities they may even share.

Snow - it's usually not a problem. Problems is darkness and cold.
But if you make friends with it, you will get a lot of good minutes.
