We won't hit 3rd world status in our lifetimes (and I have 50 years of life-expectancy to go), but we will definitely experience 2nd world status and all the corruption that entails.

I imagine that in about five decades the USA (as well as Canada and much of Europe if things don't change for the better) will look a lot like South-Africa or Brazil do today.

Jesus people. The United States is one of the least corrupt countries on the planet. It compares much more to Scandinavia and Canada than it does to China or Brazil. This is a total crap post by a butthurt Trump supporter who can see the writing on the wall and is getting ready to cry foul.

The US election corruption model is actually being put forth by Trump due to his sinking polls. He is preparing his minions for a loss--he likes to have excuses for any of his failures so he is not viewed as a loser and does not need to take responsibility for any losses.

Our elections are not rigged other than in the minds of the paranoid conspiracy theory believers.

If this were a true corrupt country with rigged elections, the winner would have the loser hung, murdered or otherwise knocked off. (See Putin, and assorted other dictators).

How many nations have only two parties that control the election process for well over a hundred years? I see third parties all the time elect candidates in Europe and Asia. Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark , and South Korea always have a large choice of parties In the US, we get two choices and thats it, a total monopoly. A two party system is absolutely corrupt

If having a choice between hillary clinton and donald trump isnt corrupt and sign of decay I dont know what is

How does our two party system compare to Scandinavia and Canada? Sweden has 8 parties with mps,Canada has six major political parties, Denmark has 9 parties, Norway has well over 10

What chance does any party but the democrats and republicans have of winning any elections? We have a choice between hillary and trump

Canada has 3 major parties which together currently hold 325 seats of the total 338 seats in the House of Commons.
