Not just illegal, he banned Iran for example which is 70+ million people - some of them professors, doctors and so on. Funnily enough even Israel aren't banning Muslim states from entry despite Muslim states already banning Jews. Yet Trump without bordering a single Muslim country thinks it's important to ban everyone from Somalia and Iran.

We'll see how long it lasts, but you have to admit, that the way it was implemented showed a total lack of understanding how the system works, and instituting it with no grace period, was bull-headed and frankly stupid.
People are stuck in airports and countries that have a legal right to be in the US. People that can't get back to work, or their homes.
