Generally, good jobs are in the very highly educated affluent places. Those places tend to reject dogmatic, closed-minded thinking. The places with that dogmatic, closed-minded thinking tend to be economic backwaters. If you can't co-exist with people who don't support your dogmatic worldview, you need to live in one of those economic backwaters where everyone thinks just like you. Do you want to live in an economically vibrant place? Or not? If you do, it's you who needs to change.

Surely you can keep some of your opinions to yourself. If you are still in Australia you will be aware of the victorious Libs and Scomo talking about the "quiet Australians" whom they, rightly or wrongly, are thanking for their victory. I personally know many people who prefer to keep controversial opinions to themselves at times. Obviously here, where eg abortion has a 90% acceptance rate, you would be usually be in company of people opposing your views.

But I know some Christians who oppose living together prior to marriage. You have stated you are travelling with your girlfriend. If you go anywhere too traditional that may be a problem.

How about a Catholic planned community? Ave Maria in Florida. BTW New Jersey was a good tip as well. Rhode Island even better.

If you are getting open hostility for being Catholic in these countries, it is something about your behavior, like wearing your religion on your sleeve and being judgemental, that is bringing on the hostility, not simply being Catholic.

Either that or you are extremely sensitive and perceive every ostensibly negative interaction as a reflection of the offender's opinion of your religion.

Hey OP, I’m also a Catholic from Australia in my 20s. Having had the opportunity to work and spend time in a few different countries I hope I can help out if you’re still pondering this!

I have found that I am most comfortable in big global cities that draw people of many different religious faiths. It may come as a surprise given how socially liberal the city is but for me London was a fantastic place to live as a Catholic. The fact that there are so many people from all over the world means people are generally tolerant, respectful and even intrigued by all religious traditions. You will of course meet many young Catholics from all over Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America as well as a surprisingly high amount of Anglo Catholics. Obviously being the financial capital of the world, I don’t need to tell you that the opportunities are endless.

Singapore which has already mentioned earlier in the thread was another fantastic place to live as a young Catholic. I only stayed there a short time but the Catholic scene is quite vibrant and youthful. The community is fantastic and it is very easy to make friends with other Catholics if you so choose. Non-Catholics are socially conservative and very respectful of the faith; you won’t run into any issues on that front. Goes without saying that it is also a global financial hub and has all the opportunities that brings.

Closer to home, Sydney is a far more religious place than Perth (particularly among young people) and is also Australia’s financial capital. Western Sydney in particular has a large population of young Catholics from diverse backgrounds (including Croatian-Australians in the Edensor Park area). Western Sydney voted heavily against the legalisation of same sex marriage in 2017, with Sydney as a whole narrowly backing it 52-48 (a significantly lower margin than the rest of Australia).

A couple of other places I would consider that I haven’t been to myself. US cities like Dallas, Houston, Miami, Atlanta and Tampa that have booming economies as well as large and growing Catholic populations.

If you happen to speak Spanish Mexico City is another one that could really come into its own economically in the coming decades, and also has a very heavily Catholic population.

In any case, you want to avoid places with lots of closed-minded pseudointellectuals like this

I would say Dubai and there are some catholic churches there. Even though most people are muslim they will share some similar social values as you. How about Africa and there are some African countries even some safe ones. BTW this African president views is similar to typical African leaders on LGBT issues:
