Right here in the USA. Some of those so called third world countries have more stringent rules to combat COVID 19 than us. No national leadership, every state has its own guidelines and a mob of people who won’t follow any guidance and wouldn’t get vaccinated even if it was available.

Well the U.S. is more likely to reach herd immunity because of how free people are to move around. So if there's never a vaccine, the US will probably be ok. Countries like Vietnam, where everyone locked down and Covid didn't spread much will probably have a worse time when the world opens back up. Covid is bound to spread, unless they just keep their borders closed forever. Their only hope is a vaccine, which is not guaranteed

The answer to this question really depends on a lot of different variables. So the answer is "it depends".

You need to update. Because the problem with covid is that there is no long term immunity. So countries that already f#cked up the first time will probably have second and more waves.

I thought that the science of immunity is still an 'unknown' with Covid? The countries that f*cked up first time might have learnt more 'lessons' than the 'other' countries who have yet to get the first wave.

I don't expect to see a vaccine this year or even next. They will try, but who wants to be the guinea pig?

They still don't have a viable one for the HK flu - you know the annual potty grabber....The H3N2 virus continues to circulate worldwide as a seasonal influenza A virus. According to the CDC, between 9 and 45 million Americans catch the seasonal flu each year, depending on the particular strain of the virus circulating and the effectiveness of that year’s vaccine. It takes from 12,000 to 61,000 lives annually.

The island countries are MUCH BETTER at handling their affairs and borders. We've already seen where Iceland, Greenland and most Atlantic islands have controlled the virus spread.

And the countries that have never experienced a wave will experience one sooner or later because countries like Vietnam and Thailand can't stay shut down forever. They rely on mass tourism.

They can change to have their economy mainly agricultural and industrial.

The least developed and poor countries .
But these countries don't have many old people.

Another group will be countries that hate masks.

-The countries that were the worst affected during the first wave: Italy, Spain, Brazil, U.S., India, etc.

-Or the countries that reacted quickly and had a low amount of Covid cases: Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, New Zealand, etc.

We don’t know that yet, look at the numbers in Peru, Mexico, Chile. There are people dying from the virus and starving from the economic crisis, where would u rather be right now? In those countries or in. Thailand and Vietnam? These two countries could allow traveller's from countries that don’t have crazy numbers of cases.

Lol other countries can learn without having the need to go through this. We are all connected. Best thing to do is to prevent and do stupid decisions like in the USA, UK, Colombia, etc.
