What language is second most useful after English in the World? (live, business)

Today, English is the most widely spoken language in the world, and is a world language. (This doesn't necessary mean by native speakers!).
In your opinion, what language is the second most widely spoken language and/or useful in the World?

Chinese for business, Spanish for love-depends on how you roll.

It really depends where in the world you live and your line of business.

If I had to choose an overall language, I would say Chinese because I believe their economy and influence around the world will continue to grow.
