wow, very impressive city... China has certainly come a long way! I want to visit

I knew it was some city in Asia but my guess would've been Seoul because of the bridge and river but I guess it was wrong

one of my desires is to visit Shanghai, the "pearl of the orient"! and has one hell of a skyline!

hehe~~yep, i know, sometimes asian cities are a lot alike~~

BTW, the river in Guangzhou is called "the Perl River"it's also the 3rd longest river in China```
this city has so much to do with "the 3rd" ```` it lives under the shadow of Beijing and Shanghai```, Guangzhou is good enough compared with them , but the fame```not even close, i feel sad about it of my hometown`````
BTW again, the TV tower you see in the pics of Guangzhou is the tallest in the world ,610 m high, that's 2000.8 ft high~~that's a "fisrt" ,haha

Moderator's Note:

While quiz-type threads are quite interesting, this particular forum is meant to serve as an exchange of information regarding geographic areas not covered by other City Data forums. In order to make it easier for members and other users to find information on a specific topic, the City Data Terms of Service requires that threads relate to one particular topic; hodge-podge threads are very difficult for users to extract information from.

Even though this guessing-game thread involves cities, it's still a game-type thread which would be a much better fit for the Games/Trivia forum.

It's also quite obvious that various images being used in the thread are not original works. Members are reminded that City Data respects the rights of original authors and takes copyright violations seriously. Please read and follow our Terms of Service when referring to non-original works or images.
