I do like Charlotte a lot. Anna and Beth are ok. The last two are too overdone these days.

In the end it is your decision. I often choose a name and then change it sometimes multiple times in a story. Sometimes it is easier to ask the character, "What's your name?", after you get to know them. (Just my opinion - based on the fact that I went through dozens of names for my unborn baby. He went two days without a name; then I asked him and I was given the name.... and it fits him so well.)

I was thinking more like Anna Annabeth Annabelle. I do love charlotte. And I agree, I had to name her something, but with computers its easy to find and replace later. So I really appreciate your input

It's funny, I grew up in MA (my early years - the 60s) and it seemed liked every girl had two names for their first name... I was no exception. I really thought this was weird because I thought two names was a 'southern' thing.
I guess it's really just a naming thing after all.

How about Annabelle Charlotte as a full name? Sounds quite southern to me.

I didnt really think about the possibility of the political climate of the location having a bearing on the name. That is interesting. Well its just a working name at this point. Is your name Bob or are you suggesting Bob?

My name is Bob.
I always sign my post with it.
Bob.

Hello Bob, my name is Liz. I feel my handle may be misleading.

I changed the names of three of my characters. Recently I came across a file I'd written of some dialogue I wanted to put in a scene I haven't written yet, but I had to write down what I wanted them to say before it ran out of my head. I know I wrote it a long time ago, because one character has his original name.
