I say: write your book & make your own screenplay. When it gets produced: I'll buy a ticket & I'll read the book first cuz the book is usually better.

Why thanks, Kate. I'm getting good reviews from my critique group. And, for the record, I have heard the Harold and Maude comparison a lot, even though I have never seen the movie.

A malevolent spirit of a (male) mass murderer from the mid 1800’s inhabits the body of a young and very attractive woman in our time in order to continue killing, but finds ‘herself’ becoming sidetracked by autosexuality (self love/sexual desire) and an obsession with ‘her’ new body.

And yes, I write quite a lot of whacked-out stuff.

A research scientist stumbles onto a way to mutate all cancer cells so that they can only survive in the presence of true evil.

Unfortunately, I will never write this, since the idea of all that technical research just makes me tired.
