So the writer who breeds more words than he needs, is making a chore for the reader who reads.

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells

Favourite words - confuzzle, smushables and snirt from the movie "Max and Mary". Confuzzled' which is being confused and puzzled at the same time; 'snirt' which is a cross between snow and dirt
and 'smushables' which are squashed groceries you find at the bottom of the bag.

Favourite phrases
- 'Stupidity is infinite' and "you can't fix stupid"

Fave quotes - "Marriage is like a 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle --all sky. "
--Cathy Ladman

"'Normal is nothing more than a cycle on a washing machine." Whoopie Goldberg

My all-time fave quotes from the movie "The Island"

Lincoln Six-Echo: What's "God"?
McCord: Well, you know, when you want something really bad and you close your eyes and you wish for it? God's the guy that ignores you.

I am so enjoying this thread! Does a fave ode count?

Here's a funny one to share

Ode To The Fart

A fart it is a pleasant thing,
It gives the belly ease,
It warms the bed in winter,
And suffocates the fleas.

A fart can be quiet,
A fart can be loud,
Some leave a powerful,
Poisonous cloud

A fart can be short,
Or a fart can be long,
Some farts have been known
To sound like a song......

A fart can create
A most curious medley,
A fart can be harmless,
Or silent but deadly.

A fart might not smell,
While others are vile,
A fart may pass quickly,
Or linger a while......

A fart can occur
In a number of places,
And leave everyone there,
With strange looks on their faces.

From wide-open prairie,
To small elevators,
A fart will find all of
Us sooner or later.

But farts are all bad,
Is simply not true-
We must not forget.......
Sweet old farts like me and you!
