Captain 11--The show ran from March 7, 1955 to December 27, 1996 making it the longest continuously running children’s television program in the United States.

I assume there were other, shorter programs for continuously-running children.

"Linderella" the latest play on words attached to NY basketball player Jeremy Lin, who came out of nowhere as an unlikely star, a kid of Taiwanese ancestry who went to Harvard and emerged as an NBA star.

I didn't like the play, but then I saw it under adverse conditions - the curtain was up.
