Hello all!

I'm beginning to think I imagined it, but I would swear I remember there being an archaeology/paleontology camp in Thermopolis.

I want to say it was two weeks long and the kids learned about digging up dinosaur bones the first week then went out to a site and dug the second.

Problem is, I can't find said camp!

Can anyone help? Our oldest daughter, 11, is finally ready for this kind of thing and I think she'd LOVE it!

Thanks in advance!

There are one day kid dig outings in Thermopolis in the summer. http://www.bhbfonline.org/Kids%27_Dig/index.html

There is one week camp experience there but it's for high school age kids.

I have sent a couple of notes to the Dinosaur museum asking for help before I threw myself on your mercy!

I'll bet the dinosaur academy is what I'd seen, so I'm comforted that I'm not completely insane!

Tigergal, could you check the link to the one day outings? That might be what we do: RV up, get to the museums, etc., then let one or both do the digs!

As I love your state, this whole idea would be a terrible hardship for mom as well!
