Well I did move from the metropolitan cities of Minneapolis/St Paul to Lander WY ...and didn't have any trouble fitting in., though I did miss a few amenities at the time. But then this was 10 years ago when I was a tad younger. Since then I've lived in a smallish town, somewhat conservative area, so I think that it wouldn't be too much of a culture shock. Plus I'm married now, so an outwardly social scene isn't on my agenda anymore. Sure I'd like to go out to local restaurants with my hubby or to rent the occasional DVD, but I won't worry if there's a Target or Walmart within a 100 miles

Actually I just got off the phone with my daughter and we were reminiscing about our time in Wyoming. She misses it too...we both cried when we had to move back to MN. But I do believe things happen for a reason, even if we can't always see what that reason is right away. I'm hoping that the wind will blow me back to Wyoming so my DH can see all the wonderful things I found there.
