They're saying -35f temps for our area. I've worked in - 60 wc multiple times. Dang that was cold! We took turns working 30 min, then in the trk 30 min. Swapping back n forth, 16 hr days! Really the worst part was you just couldn't keep your hands warm. I was a diesel mech majority of my career. Now I freeze for free, Lol! I don't mind the normal cold though.

Noticed the huge difference between Powell and Lander today, but it's reversed: today it's Powell that's way colder than Lander—14 degree spread. Usually Lander is the colder, which makes sense, since it's about a thousand feet higher. Anyone know what gives?

https://kingfm.com/the-five-coldest-...oming-history/

Were off grid. Last two days we had to bring the gen inside before we could get it started a pain as it's kinda heavy. Also couldn't get the torpedo stove going as the fuel was too thick to be siphoned up. A cpl hrs PIA both last two days. Got me thinking about the coldest long spell in Wyoming but haven't been able to find it on the net. 5-7 days of extreme cold (-30), could prove to be on the tough side!! Wyoming is also the 4th coldest state in the US. Amazing how -25 feels easy but -35 is a whole new ballgame!

good , tractor wanted to jell Tuesday, got it warmed up enough to get cows fed, found kerosene in Gillette that day. Suppose to be cold tonight, feeding early and heading to Cheyeene and then to Wyoming Day at Denver stock show Saturday.
