Going to ask my state legislator to write up a bill making it illegal to transport zucchini across state lines, that is any bigger then a medium cucumber, punishment to be hanging from a high tree. Anyone bringing one the size of a watermelon will be dragged by horses after being hanged.
Those area that can grow zucchini , the vegetable must not leave the property unless some one comes by and asked or some, Documentation would be needed for transport

I see you have never ate Zucchini bread with choclate drops hot out of the oven with butter on it.
I also like it fried or baked on the grill with olive oil on it, or raw.

Like small ones cut up and fried, or battered and drrp fried. Big one yes you can bake it in a cake but it only take a small part (2 cups) . But the chickens liked the rest.

At the very least there ought to be a law against someone just putting a bunch in your car while it's unoccupied.

When I lived up in North Dakota for a little over a year, we learned real quick that one must roll up their windows and lock thier car doors during Zucchini season or you would find it chock full of the things. I like zucchini bread and all that, but not that much.

Ok, I'll confess. I LOVE to cook. But, I LOVE Food. I only cook healthy things. Well, that's what I tell my doctor. I swear!

I love to fry up zuc's. Cut them about a quarter inch thick, add a little batter, and fry.

Hell, I'll take all you can give me. Tonight, I'm frying jalapeno's. No batter. Just peppers and oinions along with some tators. Course, got an elk steak on the barby. haha

But your are correct in saying, lock your doors. Somebody will fill up your car with Squash, corn on the cob, etc...

Don't recall anybody filling up my truck with beer though. Wonder why that is?

Zucchini and squash blossoms are where it's at. Take the blossoms, remove the pistil and stamen, dip in eggs and then flour, and fry in butter. Add some salt and pepper and.....yuuuuum!

And anybody can feel free to leave whatever kind of fruit or vegetable in my truck--I'm sure I'll make good use of it! I wouldn't even mind if you left a steak or two, also....
