Not sure the brilliant people of York County were thinking, but they recently changed the lights and light cycle and traffic backups have only gotten worse.

Yes, there are finally turn arrows that not only work, but let more than 3 cars make a turn. Sometimes even 6-7! I've noticed the turn lanes get backed up, but the other straight through traffic seems about the same. I am not complaining!

Now, if they would just 4 lane the rest of 160 to hwy 49!

That is a lot better than having really bad crashes on that intersection. It has always been backed up, and not alleviated by the single lane on 160 toward NC where people have to make a turn into or out of Zoar Road toward Lake Wylie.

Specifically the traffic on Gold Hill rd headed towards Tega Cay has gotten worse.
